Snow in MN

After our third snow day this school year on Friday, we got a three day weekend, which sounds great, but now we have to add an additional day on to our school calendar, again. Monday will be spent catching up from last week. I'm really looking forward to Friday of this week. I along with 2 co-workers will be traveling up to Duluth to go to a math conference. I can't wait to learn some new ideas and teaching strategies! I've had so many different staff development opportunities for reading, but never for math. Can't wait!

Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day I read the book "Green Kids- Looking After My Environment." It was great, it inspired some of the students in my class to start their own "Green Club." They've been busy picking up litter on the playground the last couple of days. Check out my Earth Day Mini Pack over on TpT for other Earth Day ideas!

Brand New Blog!

My goal for this summer was to create my own teaching blog. I just love reading other people's teaching blogs and it has inspired me to have my very own. After weeks of thinking about what I  would call my blog, it finally came to me on my 40 minute drive home.  I couldn't wait until summer to see if it was available! With a busy end to the school year, I'm not sure how much I will be able to post, but please check back this summer. I plan to work on this a lot as well as beef up my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
